Favorite Things List for 2025

December means it’s time for the My Favorite Things Party and the 2025 celebration did not disappoint! The party's theme with the invite and some decor was Whoville. There was no real reason other than I was feeling a little whimsical.

This year’s game centered around the life of a midlifer (someone in their 40s or 50s) Midlife is the perfect time to connect, try new things, and build community. It was fun to play a trivia game about things from the 80s and 90s.

Below is a roundup of the favorite things shared at this year’s party. Items brought were supposed to be around $15 or multiple small items that totaled around $15. As a reminder, the party is at the beginning of December, so many people take advantage of Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales. The list below is always enjoyed, especially for people looking to fill stockings or have small gifts to give. Some items have links, which may or may not be the exact item; the links are really to give you an idea of the item.

The party favor was the best Scotch tape - the purple label, a pair of the red and white scissors from The Dollar Tree (also some of the best), and a roll of gift wrap so that the guests could go home and be able to have a quick wrapping station to help them in this busy season.
