Our family stayed at the Hyatt Regency Denver Tech Center from a Friday to a Monday. It felt almost empty as this hotel caters to businessmen and women; it is located in the center of the Tech Center. It was the perfect place for us to stay. The rooms are much like any other standard hotel room as far as size. Yet, they were high quality rooms. Since the size is standard, we opted for connecting rooms. This way the boys could sleep in one room, and we could be in the other. And the set up would give us two full bathrooms. We find it more comfortable to have this set up. You certainly could put a family of four in one room with no issues.
This Hyatt Regency had recently been renovated and everything was top-notch! The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was stocked with amenities as well as offered a number you could call to make a special request (for something such as a razor), the internet was included and was fast, and our service in all situations was good.
Check in was smooth. There was a note on a reservation that a gift had been delivered for us. There was a little problem with the staff locating the gift. They suggested we go to our room and they would bring it to us as soon as it was found. Within 20 minutes, someone was at our door delivering the item. We ate breakfast each morning at the restaurant on the second floor (Root25) as well as ordered dinner through room service one night. All food experiences were good and there were selections for the kids.
This hotel is not in Downtown Denver, so we did have a car. (It's needed if you want to be able to get around and see the city.) We valet parked...again, no issues. Great service!

Our kids loved the indoor pool. Yet, it wasn't my favorite. However, to be fair, we are from Florida and I think all pools should be outside and at least 80 degrees...LOL! The pool is a very nice size; there is also a hot tub. The fitness center seemed fine. But let's be honest, I'm from Florida and with the air in Denver, I was out of breath climbing stairs. I certainly wasn't getting on a treadmill during my short visit.
TravelLady Rating: I recommend this hotel to families as well as people traveling on business. If you are staying on a weekend, you can often find a lower rate as this hotel does cater to the business executive. Make sure you have a car if you want to get around to see the sights. I found it a great location and a peaceful place to return after long days out in the city.
